ORIGINAL: DesFIP You getting rid of all 80 of them? I collect household manuals. Napkin folding books. That kind of really useless stuff. ME! ME! Pick me, fluff! Please pick me! I'm looking for ANY reference to snack sets - tea & toast sets - They're a plate with an off-set cup indent (or ring.) Ladies used them for luncheons, bridge parties, and, of course, baby showers. They were SO very very common, nobody wrote about them. Now, Lance, why are you interested in such a thing? Because I collect the glass sets and am getting close to "the book." I've found over 250 different glass sets and have 1,200 plates, 1,200 cups (many duplicates, of course.) Boxes give great documentation. BUT any cookbook with "how to serve (or entertain)" needs to be examined. LOL! And the pictures! X-ref'd to date of publication tells something, doesn't it? PICK ME! Oh, pretty please! Pick me!
