A c-span caller said- if you lie to the police you can go to jail. ..but if you lie to induce a war, you dont.

as far as licking olberman-ick.

i like his manic acrimoneous, pessemistic rants. but ild rather have a blue collar guy to.. uh, nevermind. :-)

his rants tho- after one gets the rhythem of them- are sing song; in that one can say some of the lines.

2008, we come to consider "commentary" as news- when in fact it is not- and never has been.

isnt it odd- that when a pundit speaks the truth- tells us like it is- we swoon over it??

much of the news is the format of a jerry springer show...in that- it is meant not to inform, but to fill seats for the show.

IMO C-span, NPR online stream- democracynow- are among the few sources where there is 'meat" to the news.

repeating a soundite is not news. it is hypnosis.

NOTE- msnbc, and cnn, nbc, abc , cbs-pbs, none of these are part of the cheap cable package. fox- cspan is. [cspan only cause it is funded by all cable]
