I am FINALLY getting a gallery together! Thanks to Insty and kinkyqueer.net I am going to be able to host a gallery of my BDSM and fetish photography. I'll have up some of my more vanila photography too, of course, but the main focus wil be the BDSM stuff. I can host the others just about anywhere. Fox will be prominently featured, obviously, becasue at the moment he is the only model aside from myself. Anyone else interested in modeling for me (on a TFP basis only) is more than welcome to. I cant travel too far for things, but Id love to add to the "inventory". And of course, if you happen to be visiting, that would work out great! Please for the love of all that is holy keep in mind that TFP photos does not mean fooling around or sex. Being tied up for a picture doesnt mean you are serving me and it wont be a scene. Ive had a few very willing models who backed out at the last moment when they found out there would not be playtime directly afterwards. I'll also be adding in some shibari work, since Fox got me a new book on the basics and I am looking forward to having some fun with that. He will be my first model for it, but a lot of the ideas he and I both have would need someone with female anatomy, or at least passably femenine upper torsos. Wish me luck! This is my first actual display of my stuff aside from the various pictures up on our galleries here. DV

few questions... where is the link to the work you have already done? What is TFP? you wouldnt make an exception on the no play rule for me? (yes it was a joke, the last one got taken seriously...)

None of the BDSM work is up yet, just my vanilla stuff. There are a few links for those, the only lifestyle related photos I hve on display are those in Fox's profile. (shawn1066) TFP is Time for Prints.. in other words you model for me, and I dont pay you for your time, however in exchange, I give you copies of everything that was done in the shoot and a copyright release and you dont pay for that so you can make copies of any of it whenever you want and use it where you wish. And maybe, you'd hve to ask Fox if playtime is ok since you arent begging to serve me, after all. DV

I look forward to seeing your photos. I did some model shooting about fifteen years ago; I was able to shoot glamour out-of-doors at the time, which was wonderful. But I had to refuse to shoot bondage; a pretty model in a thoroughly sub pose made me so excited that my hands shook ... it was very very embarrassing as a photographer. Fortunately, all she noticed was my refused to shoot the shots. For those who don't understand, she was quite clearly there for modelling, and I was quite clearly there for photography. The OP comments make perfect sense to me. Having said that, I've always wanted to find a slave who was a potential model, but not had that luck. There's such a wonderful scope there, for everything image, not merely BDSM. If anyone wants to see my work, email me.

Good luck. I think your work would be really very fascinating. I took up photography at the end of last year and wanted to do some fetish theatre photography stuff in black and white but my plans have had to go on the back burner indefinitely as I have so much work with my theatre and writing. As a consolation all I can offer is a four and a half minute Youtube preview of my forthcoming play about BDSM for which I've currently got half the footage but it isn't the same. I love photography, I can stare at photos literally for hours, a few photos inspire poetry, others are just too beautiful for words. Anyone who feels they want to can PM me with links, I make a very appreciative audience. I do my own photography which is landscapes and urban scenes, but I'm useless at photographing people. It's like paintings of people, music.. Photographing people is an art form in its own right. Part of it is fascination. I have an irrational fear of cameras, and therefore admire people who don't have such fears. It's like I have an irrational fear of cauliflowers, please don't ask me why. I'm just nervous and uncomfortable around cameras. My photography is only meant to try and help me overcome my fear of them. But here's wishing DV the very best of luck.

Fox and I have quite a collection, some artistic and some just fun. I will be adding, since we both carry notebooks now to jot down ideas and I have friends who toss out ideas they would like to see. I am hoping that when Shakti (and maybe Aidan) come out to visit us or us up to them, we have even more to add to the gallery. I was lucky to meet Fox and teach him to enjoy being in front of the camera. Angel never has liked it. I dont get excited by people in those positions, simply because to me its for the photos and not the bondage. I had friends who modeled before I was married but my exhusband destroyed 6 years worth of photography in a jealous fit. This is a big thing for me, becasue I was afraid I would get back into it and get so disturbed that I couldnt recreate some of my best shots that Id lose interest. Grnated, I havent been able to recreate some of them, since Fox's body type isnt what my former models was, but I have a far different set of amazing pictures with him. Creation is the fun, not recreation. And eventualy, I will have a willing female model again, or a t-girl. Its all a matter of time, and the gallery will help get people interested in modeling. Telling them you can take photos and showing them what you can take are very different. DV

Greetings DV, Best of luck to you on this new venture! You know I am a huge fan of your work already and look forward to being able to view more and more of your work as it becomes available. Hit me on the other side if you want to discuss the shibari - SJ and I just returned from ShibariCon in Chicago. Had a fabulous time and learned a whole bunch. well wishes and big hugs ~ fairer (who would still model for you, even without the scene, though she might pout in all the pics!)
