Not a poll, and I don't hink it's random stupidity, but if it gets moved, oh well!

Got this from a woman I work with, she sent it out to all of us veterans in the department.  In view of the time of year, I think it's fitting.

"A veteran is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to The United States of America for an amount of up to and including my life.  That is honor, and there are too many people in this country who no longer understand it."

To all who have served, are serving, or familes of those who have paid the ultimate cost with their blood, you are in my thoughts and prayers.

i second that thought.  Thank You and Blessings to all those who are serving, who have served, and who gave their lives for our country, without You there would be no USA as we know it.

As a veteran I think you but this is the day for those who actually had those blank checks cashed.
Veteran's day for those who served and lived Memorial Day for those who gave their lives.
They have earned a peacefull rest.

I realize the difference in the holidays, Archer...that was my thought exactly, but what the hey......it doesn't hurt to let them all know they are appreciated.
