It seems to me that many people have electric play as a hard limit. Many people seem to be very scared of it. It can be very nerve wracking, how much the sound of a tazapper or stun gun can make you jump. I sweat and tense like crazy. The sound is a Pavlov's bell. This, mental mind fuck is one of the best things about it. I love the feeling of a violet wand! It can be so pleasurable. Have not yet tried a tens unit.

I guess my ? is - How many of you are into electro play, and how many are not?

I dig both sides of electro , though i do have some amp limits .I have also found some old medical shock stuff that made their way into my bags , and even spencers gifts has a electro shock section .

I too, just love electric play. I'm more fond of the Violet wand than the tens unit. I remember a scene with a butterfly board and a violet wand which sent me to the moon. You really should have come to that party, Azroped.

actually I never thought about it. And somehow I think people should really look into things with electricity...because it can be dangerous (as many things I know). But the body works on electric pulses..so caution is needed.
Guess many are scared of it...me included.

(when I was young I put those 4.5V block batteries against my tongue....didn't get my excited..just cursing)

love it... and while the tens doesnt make any noise the anticipation of not knowing when the next one is going to come or how strong it will be drives me wild...

Electrical Play is not a hard limit in my book.

Actually, I'm rather interested in hooking a TENS unit up to myself and going for a few ZAPs. I tend to try things out on myself. Gives a me good understanding of the sensations and what I'm doing with something.

I have not done anything with a Violent Wand yet. I could see myself testing it out on myself.

Now, the thoughts of having somebody tied to a chair, otherwise restaind and hooking a TENS unit up and doing whatever Evil things. The thought of that appeals to me.

Electrical Cattle Prods! hahaha.. talk about getting a zap in the leg or butt. Yes, I've taken a good Zap with one right on the Ass check. Oh wait, I have a maso streak anyways.

I have done some minor things in the past with electricity but that was awhile ago. There's a lot of neat stuff out now that people can buy to really get a Charge off from.

But Damn it, I want to try a TENS out on myself to see what all this talk is about. Even Vanilla people who have had it done to them, have had some interesting things to say about it. Damn it, perhaps I need to throw my back out of wack or something.

I've been coming to the conclusion that many people have some things as hard limits because of their own mental fears. I don't know perhaps I'm just Open minded, or SadoMaso at times for my own good. I really don't consider myself a die hard SadoMaso person either. Though I have moment when I can be.

One thing is that some people make things out to be worse then what they really are, and don't realize how much they can truely experience or endure.

I have one of those little tens units you can get in the UK for pain releif, and I like it.

Very worth the 20 quid they cost here, and I would love to try more.

For me, it's not a matter of being into it or not...but of having shocked myself enough at the last job that electricity has lost all erotic appeal! LOL

Caught myself across the chest with a transformer once. Fortunately, it was one that stepped DOWN the current. I was just damned lucky.

i love it when we get the violet wand out, it's one of my favourites. But then not only do we use it for kink, but also for therapeutic reasons, as it was meant to be used, as it seems to help with my arthritis!

Not that i use my ailments as an excuse to get it out you understand, it's not up to me!

i recently had a Dom friend show me that a violet wand wouldn't kill me...but as far as TENS and anything else,(besides the old "9v battery on the tongue" trick i did when i was a kid) i've yet to find anything else in electric play i enjoy.

i don't know if it feels anything like when you accidentally shock yourself plugging something in, or when you have static electricity badly enough that anything you touches sparks...those sensations really don't do much for me erotically, i don't think they are pleasant at all. oh great, now i'm going to be tempted to stick my tongue on a 9v battery....then im' going to get pissed because it hurts rofl.

never had any experience or interest with it. although the kids at school used to break open electric lighters to get the shocker out of it, or people would get me with static electricity, i'm sure that's totally the same right?..

honestly, the most i've had experience with currents is electrolysis, and it doesn't feel elelctro to me.

I love electric play. I don't mess with stun guns or tazers though....because I kind of like living.

I was recently at an event designed to give subs a little taste of lots of different things, and there was a Domme there with her electrical toys. I discovered that I'm not a big fan of the violet wand, or the toys that play along the surface.

I did, however, like the tens unit she had. The pads she had were ok... and she was very careful to explain how to use them safely, never letting the path of the electricity cross the heart and all that. What was really fun, however, was the dildo attachment that she had. It was a public party, so she just had me hold it in my hand, but I can very easily imagine it in other places! *grin*

I prefer the wand over the tens any day. I love teasing My boy with the sound prior to the zap. Nothing like watching that little spark jump.

I love electric play. I have a violet wand that we purchased after discovering my reaction. The first time someone touched me on the arm with one I went from standing against the wall (fully clothed), to down to the floor in a heap, from the moment it touched me. The tens we had was mostly for continuous irritation, but the sound gets me in subspace fast. He also had this thing I had to call MR SPARKY, which was a pizo electric starter for bbq's which would make me jump just hearing the zap. And some years ago I had a friend with a tazer which I wanted to try. I am not sure if I was zapped or not because I was on the floor slightly after I asked him to touch me with it. I MAY have been tazed or I may have gone into space and collapsed before he touched me. I did have a bruise after though. And there is always the shock that people get from static.. YIKES.
LOL geeze I miss playing.
