My only experience with electrical play involved a very small gadget, bascially about the size of a pack of cigarettes with two prongs sticking out of it, that could deliver either a single zap or a sustained one.  Very mild -- tried it on my own arm and leg first, just kind of a tingle -- but quite effective at getting a reaction when properly applied.  The nice thing about it is that I think the only way you could hurt someone with it would be if you actually stabbed them with the prongs, so it was good for beginners (which both I and the Lady involved were). 

I would like to try more intense stuff, but obviously it has to wait until I find someone who knows what she's doing and is so inclined to do it to me.  The idea has definitely always been a strong fantasy.

It was one of the most completely unpleasant sensations I've ever experienced.

Have never tried it and never wanted to -- but I have a Dom friend who is into it and who is a licensed electrician.  So I listened to him explain the various forms of electric play, and decided to put it on the 'maybe someday' shelf.

I don't know if I felt it or not.  I can drop into space quicker than anyone I know.  And often I put myself there.  So I can't be sure he tapped me with it or not.  I have never seen anyone who experienced it and would love to hear the reactions of those that have.

i enjoy it. Your question takes me back to a party i went to, and the Master i was playing with was using his wand on me with attachments; apparently it was a light show. That's great, as i was enjoying the sensations, and the crowd was seeing fireworks.  [:)]

I do enjoy electrical play.

I have a couple of violet wands and examples of the main brands of electro kits.

I do enjoy using the anal play with p and get it to the right setting so it really feels like it is fucking him....oh yes!
I enjoy the cock straps too for electrical fun. I am keen to do some electro-urethral play soon.

The wands create a different kind of electrical stimulation being a form of static charge, not a current, so can work as little needling tickles and prickles or something very punitive.

In fact, I would say with electrics there is something for everyone if you are prepared to try out a lot of combinations and different boxes.

I can see why people call it edgeplay and for some it is a hard limit. You can easily go from bearable to way past unbearable if you are not careful with the buttons and dials. Like most bdsm stuff, it requires practice and effort to master how to use electrics well. Well worth it though.
