I'm going up to NYC this Sunday. Can anyone recommend a club to go to this Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday?

I'm 30 and well behaved.  Really a cupcake at heart.  LOL I'm a dork too.

Well, I'm in Australia, but I would like to ask something. How do we  know that you are really a well behaved dork and a cupcake? I'm thinking we should all have some proof of this claim. Like you fix all out computers and send us some video footage of you being sweet. Porn video/ photo's are fine. You just can't be too careful (or pervy) these days.[:D]

You'd better confirm, cuz I aint trusting no one. ESPECIALLY an alledged dork who didn't use a Star Trek metaphor even once. Not that I'd know. I don't watch Star Trek. I DON'T. I've heard the rumours and they aren't true.[sm=hissyfit.gif]

Is Paddles still around? I havent talked to anyone on the east coast about the NYC scene in a while. Do a web search. Thats the only halfway decent public club that I know of in the Big Apple. Not too sure if The Fetish Factory/Hellfire is still around either.

Edit> Not sure if it is even open sunday. Friday and Saturday evening for sure but not the other days you listed.

Paddles is the only NYC club i know of , most have closed or gone private .good luck getting the frosting whipped off ya .

Thanks. I had also heard of an underground place called "The Dungeon" but don't know if thats b/s or not.

Paddles is like the hotspot mainstream BDSM club thing in the city.  I think they are expanding their activities to those days now?  Not sure.

I'm on the East Coast.  Paddles is definitely still around.  Just be careful...alot of people there are very cliqueish.  I went with my husband and a friend and people just kinda went around us.

If you're going to go, jump in and start talking to someone about how to do so.

Also, the walkways are kinda small and it gets crowded so watch for on comers in the hallways!

Even if Paddles is open on those days, you will not get anything like the real experience unless you go on a Friday or Saturday night.

And as far as being cliqueish, that has not been my experience at all.  I just simply light up the 15 or so candles in preperation for a wax scene, and people come out to talk and volunteer to be the next victim.

Although I was only at Paddles once about 3 years ago, the night I was there, it wasn't cliqueish at all.  In fact, I was really surprised at how friendly and welcome quite a few people were that night.  (A Friday)  But, things always change, or maybe it's different on different nights? 

I believe Hellfire has shut down permanently and either the former owner or a DM who was active there  has or had something going in Brooklyn...? 

There should be a calendar of events in their website, someone posted the link a few threads back.

You can look up domsubfriends or TES for a fetish event calendar in NYC.  As far as I know, Paddles was just open on Friday and Saturday with Saturday being the bigger crowd. 
I've not been since November so things may have changed
