it's fine, but definitely not for me. i admire those that can do it...i know myself well enough to know that i can't, so i don't.

Its works for some,we are a Dom couple with several subs/slaves..I don't consider us poly, there are so many diffinations of poly but the simple one for me is...3 or more in a loving committed relationship...

i have been involved in poly relationships a few times. when i first started in all this, i was in D/s family which involved a male Dominant, female Dominant, 3 female submissives (one collared to the male Dominant) and several the male submissives. the Dominants were not involved with each as lovers.they were good friends and ran the family together. i served both of them and a lot of my service had to do with serving the family in general. we went out socially as family. we played together as family (birthdays were a big thing) . we hosted dinner parties. we cared about each other. it provided me with a good starting point in the lifestyle and i was part of the family for a year and half. i then went on to be part of triad. Master, his slave and me.they were married. this was short lived for more vanilla than BDSM reasons. i did not accept the collar offered in this situation. i did love the closeness and the wonderful experiences i had with them. i like poly and think i am suited for it. i have good qualities to bring to a family type situation and enjoy the family enviorment. i think an important part of poly is having a family vision and everyone being on the same page and working towards the vision being vibrantly crystal clear. may we all find our bliss, everhope

I’m am a fan of closed polyfidelity with democratic process for setting family goals and rules. As Master I have veto and it’s my job to lead but all have a voice.

Poly used to be a hard limit of mine because we have not had good experiences with a couple of girls who ended up being manipulative bitches. Once Daddy and I found our gem to play with, I was more ok with sharing our time with another person. This past week, we have had another fun CM gal as our play pet. We have had more intimate encounters with our pet than our gem, just because she's been staying at my place for over a week. I have not felt any jealous twinge with either of these gals because they know he relationship I have with Daddy and they respect it. (Also, Daddy made it crystal clear that any attempt to create a wedge would be severely dealt with.) With everyone knowing that they have a place and what the expectations are, it has been kind of fun. We don't consider ourselves poly, per se, just a bit "adventurous" and "sharing" with the right girl. (Even though the girl was more for me than Him. He just enjoys watching the two of us together, more than anything else.) ~ DRH

i grew up knowing my parents were poly and my mother was bi, at least they were while they were married. married, lovers, gay, straight, bi, poly... i grew up knowing i had options. by the age of sexual maturity, i turned out bi, and felt a poly relationship made sence. but i lived in the sticks and had a hard enough time just finding a girlfriend. and my age was against me. so i had a series of "friends" some guys, some girls, but never a three person relationship, and nothing ever serious. then at 16 i fell in love and got married. since the marriage and dual exploration along the way, i'm most happy with a poly-fed triad, that's my happy place in poly land.
