I lived in the district Bob Barr represented....unusual character without question! Would never vote for him and could never consider him for a serious Presidential candidate. I am not so sure about the "fair tax" that they propose but it is for My own selfish reasons.
Bob always came off as "Holier then Tho" and a bit of a self-righteous boob.

When I said Non of them merited my vote I was including Bob.
There is not a single candidate I have found that merits my vote based on them alone, not sure if anyone will ever pass that test.
So I have to fall back to what party platform I can support the most. Even with the distaste I may have Bob may still get my vote.
Based solely on the party platform.

Sometimes voting is indeed taking the lesser of the evils available. I wish no matter for whom they voted, everyone would at least VOTE! I think you are correct in voting for what you think is right no matter who it is you vote for.

No.....He's not a true '' freedom fighter '' in the Libertarian mode..... But he is true to the old school principles of ''true fiscal conservative'' idealism. And that's reason enough to hurt McCain if he's allowed any media exposure.

He doesn't belong on the Libertarian ticket... His views are just about perfect for the Constitution Party, but they don't have anywhere near the organization that the LP does (curious if Popeye agrees with me on this, as he's the only person i've ever encountered that votes CP [8D])

i think Wayne Allyn Root would be a much better candidate for the LP if they could slow him down to about 3/4 speed... he sounds too much like a salesman.
