Im checking on something and cant seem to find a reliable source for this information...so Im asking all of you who know where to find things

Would any one know where to find the predictions that Nostradomus made about what would show us who the final Anti Christ was...ie...wasnt there something about a head wound and death, but coming back, where he was from and the things he would claim...I am not sure what section it would be in as far as what portion of the quatrains they would be in, but I am doing some comparison with My sister on this and some other things...

Something about a blue turban and the middle east I believe. I used to pay a great deal of attention to what he wrote but then it began to bore me to tears watching everyone try to slant it to prove their own point.

I know in the Book of Revelations, it talks about a "beast" that's wounded.....that may be what you're thinking of, Kirren.

Like most prophets and fortune tellers, Nostradomus wrote a bunch of poetic giberish that allows the reader to go "Oh that's what he must have meant." after some big event happened.

Why is it that no one can stop or change the predictions that Nostradomus made? It's because no one really knows what he's talking about. You can't change the future when it was never fore told to begin with. If Nostradomus really made accurate predictions, then why couldn't anyone stop Hitlers reign, Kennedy's assination, and the fall of the Twin Towers?

So far, every prediction that Nostradomus wrote has been turned into what we want it to say to fit in our modern events.

Actually Nosti wrote in quatrains to confound the authorities, because portent was considered the work of the devil.

Since the accuracy of the 9/11 prediction many believe that the quatrains deserve a further look. I agree but for a different reason. You see I do not believe that this was a prediction, Nosti had some insight, but none into the significance of the number 911 in the US nor anything else. There is no way.

I believe that people MADE it happen. According to the book. I believe that some people are trying to make Armageddon happen, because of another book.

More mythology on which to base our deaths. Remember the legend ? Oh, it is called a story but let me refresh you so you know.

Nosti died. In the predictions was that someone would find his grave and drink from his skull and recieve his "power". It was also foretold that this person would die very shortly thereafter and according to legend, or whatever this happened during some kind of revolution or something.

Now let's step back for a moment here and examine the situation.

You are a soldier, you bust into a room and there are many things that culminated in this. You heard that if you drank from Nosti's skull you would recieve his knowledge. Although an idiot to believe this shit, it also says that you would die very shortly therafter. Why weren't you dumb enough to believe the rest of it ?

But he does it anyway. My question is this, is five minutes of knowledge that valuable ?

Might not have even been five minutes. Might have never happened at all.

There is a guy by the name of John Pouge, he basically worships the ground Nostradamus is buried under... he has several books out on his *predictions*... of course he names 2 different anti-christs (The Iatola in one version, then in a version after The Iatola died George Bush)

Thanks to all of you that replied.

For those of you that asked...I did "google-it" Once again...I couldnt find what I was looking for, but thats okay...

Anyway....This still didnt have what I was looking for.

Im trying to find out specifically the part about the head wound, or am I crossing that mentally with the bible? And the fact that he supposedly spoke several languages...

Im curious about all of this because My sister has been spouting dooms day crap at Me for days now...and she keeps tossing out the things that Nostradomus said and didnt say...and its very hard to argue with her when I cant be fully informed.

Kirren, I hope this desire to look something up is for entertainment only. The thing about Nostradomus' "predictions" is that is it post hoc reasoning and biased confirmatory "evidence."

Century II quatrain 62

BTW: the quatrains linked most prevalently to 9/11 are not generally beleived to be written by Nostradomus

the most famous head wound that Nostradomus predicted was the wound that killed the King, making Nastradomus famous as a prophet

The prophecy that made Nostradamus great occurred in July 1559, during Nostradamus’ lifetime. He prophesied that Count Mountgomery, the young lion, would kill France’s King Henry II by piercing his eye with a lance during a jousting tournament. Nostradamus published this quatrain three or four years prior to the king’s death. The king was forewarned of his death, but ignored the prophecy, participated in the contest, and died. The king’s wife Catherine d Medici continued to consult Nostradamus after her husband’s death. The quatrain that prophesied King Henry II’s death is as follows.
The young lion will overcome the older one
On the field of combat in single battle
He will pierce his eyes though a golden cage
Two wounds made one, then he dies a cruel death.

Kirren, if you want to read about someone who was real interesting and made tens of thousands of extremely accurate predictions look up Edgar Cayce.
He was truly amazing.
All he'd need were a person's name and location and he could tell you all about them.
He told people where to drill for oil to within feet. Gushers.
He could diagnose in great detail medical problems and prescribe for them with no medical training at all.
He could memorize a book just by putting it under his pillow and sleeping on it.
He made something like 40,000 "readings" in his lifetime all of them accurate down to minute details.
And he did it while in a trance and couldn't remember anything afterwards.
His secretary wrote down everything he said while he was "under."
I'm not much for Nostradamus, all his stuff could have been written about his contemporary events.
That's the problem with him, it "could" be true,... or not.
If his quatranes were accurate we'd know what was going to happen in 5, 10, 100 years from now, wouldn't we?
He couldn't hold a candle to Edgar Cayce!
There's a society dedicated to the study of Edgar Cayce in Virginia Beach, Va. I believe.
And, he said that "anyone" could do what he did if they just got in touch with their unconcious mind.
He said "time" was simply a "tool."
A fascinating person!

See this is where Nostradamous is so vauge.... A democrat says the antichrist in the B and O prophesy is Bush and Osama. A republican will say its Barrack Obama, A Houstonion will say its Big Easy the nickname for new Orleans. Personally when I sit on the toilet with fire shooting from my ass I think its Bob Ortego - owner of my favorite tacquiera. :D Nostradomous is whatever you want him to be....
