For us our house is simply our house. We do not have a special name or special title or special people *well we have children that are special to us* Our home is quite vanilla to the vanilla eyes and only those in the lifestyle may pick up on the subtle hints of the ongoings of the day. When my Dominant is here I see to his needs and to my childrens needs. People may think I spoil him, but I cook, I clean and I take care of the home and he has his place for me. :) When we get older without children at the home we will still have visitors, so everything in our lives has a vanilla theme to a certain extent. Many people who I do know that have "houses" do not have many children in the family. If they do have children, usually everything is vanilla looking except for a few places here and there. Just my experience and no houses are not just an online thing I can name four or frive off the top of my head whom I have met in my life that keep a formal type of D/s house.

How was your house formed, what is the structure, what does the name represent?

A boiled down answer:

It was formed when he moved in and the structure is he is in charge. I handle things and make the decisions he doesn't feel like making. He gives me feedback that guides future decisions. Sometimes he's wrong and when he is wrong he wants to know he is wrong. Our house doesn't have a name - too formal for us. If it did, it would probably reflect that we are both very feline.

I am socially Dominant, financially secure, neat, into gardens and a Wiccan who collects expensive antiques.  Uh, did you mean something else?

Is this kind of like when fraternities and sororities pick a "cause" (breast cancer, burn victims) they'll do volunteer work for?

If that's the case, sign us up for the RSPCA!
