It's pretty bad when we have to vote for a president in such a way as to have more control over them.
A president should be doing what, "The People" want them to do and not have *their own* agenda!

This is the issue as I see it. Writing a name in is fine. However if we really want to send a message a few million names isn't going to do that. It needs to be the same name or statement. That way it makes the news and someone takes notice. I can write in popeye but if only 2 other people write it in. It won't make the news.

I think most on collarme are intelligent enough to know our vote means zip when it comes to the general election.
Rather than someone elses futile attempt at getting us to vote for a candidate we do not back to help them.
About the only thing we have left is to make a statement. Unless of course we actually back one of the candidates.
