I am not entirely sure if I am violating TOS by posting this either, but I simply just have to share it. It's just too good of a story.
The names have been erased to protect the innocent (as well as hopefully the TOS).
Recently, I was browsing through the local profiles of submissive women and stumbled across an interesting profile. It was well written and smart, generally the kind of profile I would respond to. The submissive, according to her journal, was under consideration to a Domme in the Mid-West.
I was going to skip over it, but something bothered me about the picture she had. It bared striking resemblance to a porn-star in a Slap Happy video that I had bought (and had just recently watched with a girl). I found the copy of the movie and found out the porn-star I was thinking of was Cherry Poppens.
Following my hunch, I decided to make use of the search engine.
After a few minutes of browsing through images of Mrs. Poppins, I found out that there wasn't just a simple likeness, but rather the picture on the profile was the exact same picture on a widely available porno site, promoting one of Cherry's movies.
After another ten minutes of searching, I found that all the pictures on the profile had been taken from promotional porno sites, all from a different one of Cherry's movies.
At this point, I was faced with a dilemma.
Which is more probable?
1. That the porn-star Cherry Poppens, a person who has done dozens and dozens of porno films with various big time porno companies, many of them located in the West Coast area and who doing an Internet search for her name would bring up hundreds of pictures, was, in fact, living in a small town in South Carolina and had created a profile on Collarme.com looking for a Mistress to devote her life to as a slave....
...or....
2. This was some person who had gone to easily accessible promotional porno sites and copied and pasted the exact same pictures of Cherry Poppens to create a false image on a Collarme.com profile.
Personally, I went with option #2....
I took the time and contacted the Domme who had her under consideration. She seemed like a very genuine person with pictures of herself that had obviously been taken by a webcam.
I wrote her a detailed message, explaining to her what I had found, who Cherry Poppens was, how she was a porn star with a good degree of fame, and provided links to the promo porn sites so she could see for herself that the pictures on the profile had been lifted from them.
The response I received was....
"Just because she does porn doesn't mean that I don't want her..."
Some people just deserve to get played on this website...
