The sense of smell, like any other , can be more acute in some folks than in others. On the other hand, our senses, in my experience, can be consciously, deliberately cultivated. For example, I'm a massage therapist. It took me time, focus and effort to develop my sense of touch and palpation to the point where it is now. A person who loses one sense (or when it is diminished) often compenstaes, unconsciously, by refining other senses. Imo, there is something one might call a "sixth sense" or, an overall awareness, a wider focus, which allows one to be more sensitive to ...life.

And, OP, don't be so self conscious about how your pussy smells, if I may say so. Good, naturally clean, pussy smells just yummy, potently aroused or not, and is a major turn on for any man with any sense. Your man seems to have plenty of that.

As to your last question, about someone sniffing you out at the supermercado, unles you've been freshly fucked,I wouldn't worry about that. That kind of olfactory awareness, imo, is focused only on those whom we, ummm, focus on...yanno ?

Typically women have a sense of smell about twice as strong as a man's. However, if you are in tune to someone you can start to pick up subtle signals like that. I'm impressed that he is the one that smells the change on you and not the other way around.

I have an odd body chemistry. When I was a teenager I could only wear about three different kinds of perfumes because all of the other others would start to smell like Off, the mosquito repellent, when they hit my skin. It got better as I matured, but even a week or so ago I was shopping with my daughter and put on some vanilla scented perfume. (Women in the old West used to dab vanilla behind their ears as perfume, and supposedly it is one of the single most intoxicating scents to a man. My personal theory is because it smells like sugar cookies - ha ha.) It had such a bad reaction that the store clerk immediately pointed me to their sink and had me go scrub it back off. My guess is that because of this odd body chemistry that I must put off a strong scent of my own. Ironically, I can smell myself when I am a combination of excited and very secure and happy - and it is similar to vanilla.

It did make a funny mental picture to think of someone going through a grocery store trying to sniff out whether anybody was aroused.

Wow, so many people who seem to have this gift! I thought my nose was pretty good....I can smell the scent that he leaves on the pillow for example. But I can't tell he is aroused from smell alone. Good thing that there are other rather obvious signs of that...lol.

My Master also commented recently that he can smell when I'm aroused (in fact we were in the pub and even with all the other people there he claimed he could smell me, the fact that he'd done something utterly unconsciously that had made me melt just confirmed to me that it wasn't BS), I'm very comforted by his smell also, love it on the pillow and often dig out his shirts from the laudry to wear in bed on the nights we can't be together it makes me feel safe and loved.

Apparently smell is also a very strong trigger for memory so perhaps the connection is stronger for people who have been intimate already?

Every person has a scent and the scent changes slightly depending on their mood. Since I quit smoking several years ago, my nose has become hyper sensitive. I've grown to love and appreciate the scent of a woman. Yes, if you are privileged to get to know a woman well enough, you can begin to tell her moods by her scent. There is nothing like experiencing the various scents of a woman you know intimately, happiness, sadness, arousal and fulfillment. It helps me sleep at night to have her in my arms, my nose in her neck, finding a sense of peace.

It's a whole lot easier to find a moose by smell than it is to find wild strawberries. So acute smell would be more helpful for the gatherer types. Same reason we have better color vision (although you fellas have better night vision).

Honestly, just for expressing this fear I'd have the OP put something in her pants that mimicked a hard on. Have a carrot or something pitching a tent, then have her stand in front of class or walk around. So what if people can tell when you're horny? Levels the playing field.

i am sensitive to all sorts of smells....colonge and perfum being the worst of the bunch....personal smells are a close second....some people just stink! though Master smells like earth and the soap he uses.....

I have a real issue with the scent of a woman. For some reason the way my brain is wired I can really pick up on the scent of a woman more so than I can food for instance. I can be standing in front of a woman for instance talking to her and the smell coming off from her body makes my mouth water so I cant stop thinking about what she might taste like and then the stomach starts going and then my cock starts going…lol.

To me, everyone has an individual smell. Some woman smell so hypnotic I just cant describe it. Others … well lets just say I remember when I was in my late teens… had the gorgeous blond that was model material but never really could hit it off with her… got her in bed and was going down on her and got about 4 inches from her pussy…. Now here is the thing. If a woman smells good she will never smell bad unless she has been contaminated. The things that woman do that they think makes them smell bad can actually make them smell just incredible. Lets put it this way… you don’t want me hanging out at your gym because woman exercise those inner thigh muscles…LOL watch out. I actually complain to my girl that she douches too often because frankly playing with her on and off all day making her wet actually makes the house smell like heaven to me…lol but the funny thing is that no one else can even notice it.

Once I get to know a woman really well then there is a lot of things I can tell about a woman by her scent. For instance, when a woman is sick very often her scent will change to a muskier odor because often woman have more of a discharge without actually being aroused. Arousal to me is a sweeter odor while moisture without arousal tends to be muskier with the exception of about two days before a woman starts her period.

The scent of a woman on her period is not bad for the most part except the products that are used to control the odor. I can honestly say I smell the woman’s pad about twenty feet away. The smell of a period only gets bad when a woman has not washed the outside in a day or so.

I have really gotten into the subject since I found out as a young teen that others were not like me and I have found that the smell of men can actually make me vomit. Kind of a bad thing to find out in a group sex environment. When a man has sex with a woman he totally screws up he odor and I have even at times asked my girl if a man has hugged he because some men’s scents are so overpoweringly strong to me that just a simple hug will leave his scent behind. But anyway, I’m weird….LOL

Maybe more men are like you than they realize. Whenever I hug a man I almost always get a response along the lines of "Wow, you smell good. I love your perfume". Usually though....I'm not wearing any.

Just to continue this thread and slightly go off on a tangent I discussed the ability to smell me with my Master and he has a lot in common with FRSGuy it turns out (heaven for me as my previous partner of 10 years hated giving me oral so I've been somewhat starved of a favourite activity! BONUS!!)
