i'm 18 inches wide at the widest part of my body and from the top of my head to the crack of my ass is 37 inches. The glass pane would have extended 9 inches on either side of me (difficult to imagine ropes providing any stability in that case). The glass would have extended roughly six inches beyond both my head and my ass. Since my femar is longer than my humerus, the only way i could keep the tabletop level would be to have some support under my forearm or to put weight on my wrists in a very unnatural position. Guests would have to navigate the overhang of the glass making toying my holes at best uncomfortable for the guests.

What makes this story implausible is a man with white carpeting and a man willing to pay $2200 for a coat.

Actually, I didn't want to condemn the poor soul, even though I thought it to be all hogwash. In my opinion, I thought it to not contain one shred of truth. But that could just be my anti-social bitterness and not my bullshit detector.

I do not want to critique him on anything. He did not say he used glass from a coffee table...only that he used a 4x3 foot piece of glass so it could have been glass he keeps in his basement for this purpose.
