I've received 5 different messages in the last too days from users with non-active profiles inviting me to add them to my yahoo list. Typically this type of spam is done in an attempt to gather email addresses so that spam mail can be sent out with spoofed address. If you receive the same type of mail, please report the message as spam so that the CM program will delete the profile and make it more difficult for these people to use CM for illicet purposes.

I always do. I also tag users who put a yahoo id in thier profiles-figuring they are doing the same thing-just being lazier about it.

Oh and I thought this was a thread about Monty Python.. I get this all the time, though not from Collarme but from other sites. If you respond you not only get spam, but not just through CM but also through your e-mail accounts, IMs, and so on. It's best to report it. If you get spammed as a result in your e-mail account, you can stop it. Simply reply with a large attachment, say 3 or 4 mp3 files of between 15-20 MB or a similar large attachment and send back an empty reply with the attachment. I can't explain how, but it seems to bugger things up at their end and after 2-3 of these replies they leave you alone.
