BSB and I met face to face about a year ago, she is arriving in hours and I haven't seen her for three months, VERY VERY VERY hard months. I want to thank everyone who has said nice things about us and for the wonderful community that is CollarMe. We met on a fluke, she was too terrified to contact me as I seemed so formidable but I posted something about my fleeting romantic encounter and how it reminded me of how happy "puppy love" can be and how I wanted it to be part of my life. Seeing a softer side of me she took a risk and emailed me. I almost blew it after a few emails because I blocked her thinking she was a guy (she was reticent about talking to me on the phone). We worked things out and I now have a woman who is rather perfect for me, not perfect as in no flaws, we both have our share, but in that we compliment each other amazingly well and make each other very happy.
SO, I ask those of you out there to take a risk, email someone, flirt, be vulnerable, risk your heart. Connections CAN be made, your soulmate IS out there somewhere. It worked for us, so take one giant risk in celebration of our anniversary and flirt with someone you think is amazing but can't imagine being interested in "little ole me" and post that you did, you don't have to say who, just that you tried. I can't imagine any more fitting way of celebrating our anniversary or our happiness.
PS, she arrives in about three hours!
