I am well aware that Obama is not a Moslem.

Quite frankly right now I wanted to say that. Digesting the rest of this monster I created is going to take some time and I got food in the oven.

Hey, I like watermelon.  Obama's new pastor is pretty much identical in thinking to Wright.  Not much has changed but we didn't think it would now did we?

So, what do you think of the newest polls...Hillary can't win over Obama.  Yet, she can win over McCain by something like 3 points...and McCain can win over Obama like by 6 points...which if you figure it up means Hillary is the winner?

Where do they get these polls from?

We can't get it here anyway...tried and tried some more.  Don't know why, but they don't allow it.
Another reason to dislike dish.

Until we have basic, fundamental campaign financing reform and elections that are publicly funded, this situation will not change and we will all continue to just piss into the wind.

We can add this point to the earlier list. It's not a small thing either.

I don't know why the electorate puts up with it...It's exactly as if people had no idea what the government was actually supposed to be doing.

I havent read the whole thread but I assume it is serious.
I know that the US is nowhere near as perfect as it believes itself to be.
I know life is excessively tough for poor people in the US and I would like to see changes that address that.
I also know that if the US goes down the tubes then  the free world as we know it will follow very soon after.

How any Brit can be anti US beats me considering what they did for us in WW2.
I know it cost us an arm arm and a leg..... but thats just their quaint little way. lol

seeks, no profile ? After you said that I figured you are a Brit or at least in the UK.

After what they did for us ? OK, fine, but I am still waiting for the arm and leg. I think it happened just like throught history, your poor people gave our rich people money. None of us got it.(wonder how the rich manage to be rich)

But that's how it is. Communication on the net is going to eventually result in multiple problems for them, in several countries at the same time. It could be decades, but it will happen.

Just the natural order of things.

The best responce for this post is no responce.   The OP is wanting an attack; therefore, I am backing off.  I know how I believe and what I was raised in.

Sorry you see it that way MissS. If you choose not to respond fine, but I say this. Obama is far from perfect, but he is the least of three evils.

What an endorsment eh ?

However, I have noticed that alot of those who like to disagree with me have been sort of quiet.

If people are not going to stir the pot, this thread will probably go down in obscurity, so I will leave you with this. If there is a God, God bless America, she needs it now more than ever.

. Center and Right have fucked the country over in various ways for going on 16 years now.

How can you not see that the left is as guilty as the rest?  It was niether the right nor the center that created this monstrous system that we call welfare.  I am talking about a system that teaches people it is easier to do nothing and draw a government check than go out and earn their money.  If the hard left had their way, we would all be locked in this cycle and be totally dependent on the feds.
Did they start out with good intentions?  Who knows?  Who cares?  They screwed up and now don't even have the balls to take the blame.
And, for the record, I don't hate our government.  I hate the igorant way we allow it to be run by ideological jerkoffs who have no business being dogcatchers much less congressmen or presidents.  THEY are what they are.  WE are the dumbasses who keep putting them in power.

And, to whoever madethe statement about Hillary becoming the candidate by default, I applaud you.  He would be nothing more but one more "mysterious death" of someone in her way.

Why shoud this surprise anyone?  Personal responsibility and accountability are the very things the hard left argues most strenuously against.

The hard left never takes the blame, they only assign it to others (they are quite good at that I have noticed).

Personally, I ignore them as much as I can.  They have little of substance to say, so why indulge them?

No it isn't. It is against the exploitation of the weak by the strong. As I pointed out in another thread, if it wasn't for the rich stealing the land of the poor, forcing them to live in overcrowded and deseased conditions and work unexceptionally long hours for a pittance, no one would have ever thought of socialism.

The irony is, that most middleclass and blue collar people who complain about the left wouldn't have it so good if it wasn't for the left. However, people on relatively modest incomes who appear to believe in welfare for the rich (which capitalism is) probably deserve to be back in the desease ridden ghettoes and factories of the 19th century.

Typical self-deluding self-rationalization.

The left has done more to undermine economic opportunity for the middle class and "blue collar" people than anyone else.  The left discourages individual enterprise and individual effort, and then villifies individual success as the cause of all that is evil in the world.
