I see the danger but somehow differently I guess to most people. I don't believe that the BNP will ever take power.. But given the strong likelihood that our next Government might be a Conservative one, and given that much of our 'yob culture' comes from children of the original 1980's yuppies who are in influential positions in the City, in the media, marketing, businesses, and in television, etc - hence the new yuppie image of the BNP with the suits, only telling half the story, the buzzwords and the image - there is a danger of the BNP influencing the Tories through 'the back door'. But then again this could be scare tactics from Wapping to get people to think 'oh well, maybe Labour isn't that bad'. But it is. Blair was inspired, don't get me wrong, and he's made us a world leader in diversity and equality which I guess is one of his legacies, but abuse of power, complacency and indolence appear to be en vogue for this Government. I'd be happy to invite Gordon Brown personally across the Thames and give him some drama workshops. There's got to be a personality somewhere there. Failing that I feel the should ditch him and replace him with Alexei Sayle. There's nothing wrong with the people of this country, we're wonderful people I guess as a nation. I mean why else would people want to come here? To be able to buy bags of chips? The problem is the system. Totalitarianism isn't working.. I feel we should thank Mr Murdoch et al for keeping us so well-informed over the years and his electoral advice, wish him well and give him the old two fingered salute. We need, badly need a responsible government who's back in touch with the people. But people in a society can screw up en masse. This is how Bush got in twice.
