Watch a movie called Insomnia, with him and Al Pacino. He's the baddie in that one, it's well done.

The movie "One Hour Photo" he is a psychopathic stalker type.

faerytattoodgirl -> RE: robin williams (4/27/2008 7:02:44 PM)

not sure i have heard of those movies...

He was also in that yawn-inducing flick, "One Hour Photo".  Writeups on it said he was a "psycho", "chilling", etc.  I kept waiting for it to get more interesting.  It never did.  The photo place where he works is inside another store (like a Walmart) - I kept getting distracted by how freakin' clean the store was.  I know it was part of the "look" of the film, but c'mon, you could have eaten off the floor. And all the merchandise was perfectly arranged on every shelf.

I love Robin Williams in "straight" parts. (Meaning, non-comedic)

GreedyTop -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 7:52:13 AM)

I loved the movie "What dreams may come"

parttimehotty -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 7:52:50 AM)

I liked "Insomnia". Kind of dark/mysterious.

DiurnalVampire -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 7:53:51 AM)

One hour photo was far freakier when you worked in a photo lab like i did.
I never made it through insomnia, but i hear its good.

Floggings4You -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 8:55:47 AM)

I'm one of the few people I know who enjoyed Popeye, but then I like Robert Altman.

My favourite Robin Williams film--and one of My favourite movies, period--is Dead Poets Society.

GreedyTop -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 8:57:20 AM)

Dead Poets Society is an awesome movie!

windchymes -> RE: robin williams (4/28/2008 9:58:54 AM)

Bicentennial Man....he was awesome in it, and the movie itself is a real thought-provoker.
