Geting a tattoo as PART of a relationship, to show your devotion to your owner is a pretty popular fetish and interest. I dont see letting a stranger ink you as being particularly submissive. It doesnt say anything to me of your interest in submission but it does sound like desperation. You are so desperate to involve yourself in a submissive act that this will do.
Both of my boys and I have discussed the possibility of tattoos. Each of them have names from me, and they have both talked about getting their names, in kanji, tattood for me.
Consider this, this Master who is putting his mark on you by proxy... how will that impact your potential for a realtime owner at some other point in time? If you meet someone else interested in you, how are you going to explain allowing someone you never met to put their mark on you? Giving that sort of control to someone you dont know might be a turn off for a real life owner, is the ink worth it? Or, you being permanently marked by another Dominant might turn off others that come after. I know I have had isues with other boys in my past whose former owners had tattood names on them and then released them. That is such a permanent thing, its something that should not be entered into lightly. Piercing is one thing, if you dont like it, or if another owner doesnt like it they can come out easily. Tatts are very different.
