Greetings,
The bit of advice I have from hosting a munch is .... it's always your fault (good, bad or otherwise). By being the person that the munch is associated with you become a community leader (whether you want to or not) and people will come to you to bitch about others, to solve their problems, to find them a compatible person, to complain about scheduling, to demand you put on a party or a fetish event, etc, etc, etc.
So ... stick to your original plan; don't get dragged into other people's politics; develop a thick skin; and try not to take anything personally.
