You'll note that more than the three finalist Presidential candidates are mentioned, indicating the article is dated. Only one had zero earmarks. However, the bottom line and 'Champion of Pork' remains the same.

"This analysis is supposed to ask: What kind of president would you be if you had 261 earmarks?" Williams told Cybercast News Service. "Would you be more likely or less likely to issue an executive order eliminating earmarks?"

But is this on is face necessarily a bad thing? This is money coming back to the constituency. What would you expect if you were a large contributor or a member of a PAC? Just like anyone, you would want a return on investment. Anyone can have political influence, especially it seems with Senator Clinton since she's #1, as long as you have a few bucks in your hand when you shake hers.
Where I in New York, seeing these income results from the federal taxes collected throughout the country coming to me - I'd be investing more in the Clinton campaign. Like my marketers, she's a proven producer! Where she to win the Presidency, I would expect the investment to payoff ten fold!
