I haven't had a truly usable kitchen in the better part of a year. I think I would even clean an oven (gasp!) at this point to get one. And get rid of my roommate.

LOL...does your roomie know that a usuable kitech is of greater importance than he/she is right now? Can't really say anything from this end tho...Ive felt the say way about a few people i've lived with. :)

an oven that takes 4 hours to clean needs to be trashed & replaced, i'm thinkin...probably never be really clean...& those first few times you turn it on, there will be that oven cleaner reek...BLECCCHHHHH!!

A really good form of torture would be making somebody stand in line at wal-mart for hours on end during the holidays.

Fox and I decided on going out to eat, so I havent tested the newly cleaned oven... thats for anotehr braver day

I'd rather clean the oven than change yet another diaper, I put tinfoil in the bottom of mine so cleaning is easy.

The joys of rental accomodation try puting an oven proof bowl of hot water in the oven and turn it on for about 20 mins on lowish.... then about 20 mins or more on high .... will help get rid of the left over chemicals ... Such cleaning is a hard limit of mine grins thus why I have house keepers ....

cleaning out the fridge after you went out of town for a weekend and didn't know the power lines went down might come close...
