good article...but i wonder, do people think politicians are all robots without feeling? It wouldn't surprise me if ANYONE remembered an old friend in a special way. (i am a bit wierded out that he brought a stranger along for the visit, but i have learned that everyone has a different sense of propriety, and i don't know all the history behind that decision.) What does surprise me is that a politician (Udall) would choose a VA hospital rather than a private hospital...
