I have been wanting to make use of the nicer weather and get a chance to take some good outdoor bondage photos.  I am not sure how exactly to go about this, though, since I defiantely do not have the land on which to do it myself. The other ones we did were out in a park, but we went when the weather was just barely warm enough for Fox to be shirtless for a while. Not many hikers yet, so there was no problem.  Now, however, as the weather gets nicer the parks get to be more traveled.
So, I am hoping someone might have an idea. What can I do to get some outdoor photos, without getting either of us hauled in for indecent exposure? I have considered hiking well off the trails, but I was worried about the safety of getting that far off the beaten path. We have considered a camping trip, as well, and doing some shots overnight too. That has its own set of dangers and issues. And of course there are always the animals to worry about, snakes and dangerous insects being my biggest concern.

Any ideas would be welcome :)

More seriously, with folks being put on sex offender registries for merely peeing outdoors, I would say be VERY careful about ANY possibility of a busybody seeing you.  The more remote location, the better.  Not only lessens the possibility of getting hauled in, but gives you one more defense in case you do have to explain to a judge.

I would definately skip the park or heavily used nature trails. Do you have a like minded friend with some room outside to do this?

Backwoods hike more than 10 miles from a road and away from the trail, and poison ivy, should suffice, assuming you aren't in bear country.

my first suggestion is to find someone with some land that would let you do some photo shots there. Someone in the lifestyle, or someone who you could maybe "rent" some time on their land for. Otherwise, go to less traveled locations, or even much larger parks or hiking places where there's more room to vanish into the wildlife scenes without the dangers of being lost or injurred. Walking off the beaten path isn't dangerous if you're smart and prepared for it. You know, first aid kit, compass, good hiking shoes, water, etc. Also, have you considered nudist spots for such photos?

I have always been a fan of the deck of a sailboat.  There is plenty of room even on a 22'.  You can be as far away from people as you need to be and still completely in the open.  Not to mention plenty of binding points.

That's when you need a big boat.  Oh and right knot across your wrist is said to get rid of motion sickness.  I have not used the knot but I have given a red behind to take their mind off of it.

Graffiti is a cool background, could use train cars parked somewhere. (There's lots around here), or maybe under an overpass.

Check out some of David Lawrence's work, he does a lot of "Hit and Run" outdoor shots, a lot of them in major cities.

Thanks for all of the suggestions thus far.  What outdoor bondage we have done has been rather successful.  It was rather fun, and we made sure that nobody was in the immediate vicinity.  With the rock formations, I was able to be handcuffed in a well-like rock formation for a few shots.  It was rather cool.

I don't think it'd be very hard to do some shots someplace in the woods.  If I mulled it a bit, I'm sure I could find some areas near my family's place, since we do live in the middle of nowhere and I'm pretty well versed in the area.  I just wouldn't feel right about doing it so close to home. :-p

So, please, keep the suggestions coming.  We certainly might be able to use them... :-)

Thanks for all the ideas. Boats are out, I get sea sick, and trying to battle that and look through the eyepiece of a camera to get decent shots....
Yeah, not gonna happen.

At the moment we are leaning towards getting somewhere off the beaten path not far from Fox's place. As long as it isnt hunting season, theres little to no foot traffic out there and last itme we went shooting we scouted a few places that might work.

Our other possibility is a very big park, where we did our last ones. Ony thing there is that its got a few popular trails we might have to avoid. I have a GPS and a lot of hiking expereince, so getting away from trails doesnt bother me as much as the potential for being seen does.

We have also talked about some low profile but much more public shots. I was thinking handcuffs, but fuly dressed, in one of our better known parks.
