Thanks, holly, I do appreciate that.

[sm=hearts.gif] the great thing about bad days, Level...they DO end eventually...and the next day the sun always seems just a wee bit brighter

We'll see.

I still think it'd help to slam someone's head in the commode.

Seriously, I'm a bit surprised at the behavior of a certain user her on CM.
The person in question sends me an threatening letter because I added her to my favorites list, and when I point out to her that my favorites list isn't hers to command she then insist I shouldn't even look at her profile.
Well, now she says she and friends of her has reported me as a stalker. *sigh*
Not that I'm particulary impressed or intimidated by such behaviour, she's definetively not on my favorites list anymore. And i do pity the people that has to deal with her IRL if this is how she behaves online.

Seriously, don't people even read the http://www.collarme.com/personals/help.htm page before leaving their common sense behind?

Oh well, I do know that this is a onesided representation. But back to the topic in question. Are ther eany recommended policy on how to reply to those that show such behavior other than block and ignore?

IXian.

Well, with the mood I'm in, if you can send them to my house, I'll gladly stick their head in the toilet, and slam the lid down on them a few dozen times.
You my dear, need a new mood...this one's for you...

kdsub -> RE: Rant: How to deal with abusive people on CM? (4/7/2008 5:05:15 PM)

Maybe I'm confused... this person did not contact you first... did not ask for your interest... asked you to remove them from your list...but you want to give them a hard time?

This requires no action on your part other than don't contact them... they want nothing to do with you.

Just because they may not of treated you with the respect you think you deserve is no reason to hassle them.

I don't mean the above as a criticism of your intentions... the person is just not receptive... It is their loss... I'd just let it go.

Ignore or block stupid people and move on.

Unless they do something criminal, there is really no need for more than that.  You will find that people will prove remarkably adept at digging their on grave in most cases.

Complaining on here will just lower other people's opinions of you otherwise - as you can see from some of the previous comments.  Maybe right, maybe wrong, but always works that way.

Perhaps refine the criteria by which you choose your favorites? What are they anyway?
Female and breathing? Those are mine.

OH NO.  you posted the "Walking on Sunshine" video.   You know what that means, don't you?  A puppy HAS TO DIE.  Its true.  Every time a bell rings in heaven, an angel gets its wings; and every time someone plays "Walking on Sunshine", a puppy dies a horrible death.   That Katrina chick is the Eichmann of the canine world.   Sorry.  I have to do something now...here Fifi...come here....

And a kitten in new jersy implodes......leaving only a disgusting furball behind.

Actually, Leatherist, the kittens blow up when someone plays that OK-GO video on the treadmills.

I am not a huge fan of watersports, but damn it Aileen, you just got my attention... I think it is more the aspyxiation though. "Taking your breath away." And I guess there's something in me that looks at that lovely picture of yours and knowing you would enjoy it, well... Let me go start drinking some water...lots of water.
