Influencing the right to vote and the manner in which my slave votes in one of the hard limits I placed upon myself. Same thing goes for her right to worship any way she chooses... (And I am referring to worshiping things besides me, of course..) I guess there are just some things I am not comfortable influencing... however short that list may be.

I love Thorn's response to this, although part of me also thinks it's an interesting extension of the D/s dynamic I can't help but wonder whether this is only really a question for people who are 24/7 and those who have lives which don't allow for 24/7 D/s would find this restriction difficult / troubling.

My Master for example is not very politicised, I on the other hand am very interested in politics... sometimes it is okay to be different as well I guess!

Well, like others have said, I couldn't be in a relationship in the first place if we didn't share similar moral, spiritual, and political views. I doubt my Master would order me to vote anyway - he knows that I'm pretty politically opinionated (as is he) and when it comes to things like that, he appreciates my intelligence and personal viewpoints - he doesn't want a mindless drone who will just do and think what he wants her to do and think. I like the idea of being ordered to vote in general, but find that unlikely in my situation too since Sir doesn't vote himself. (I know, voting is so important, so I'd like to convince him otherwise... but not really my place.)
