I've had probs with products I've ordered from Extreme Restraints ... when I send the stuff back (according to their directions & arranged in advance), they say they never got it (though UPS shows they signed for it) ... and then they don't give me a refund or a replacement.  Is there anything I can do about this?  I'm out just under $200 & they no longer even answer my emails.

Sorry you've had the problem too.  My first order went fine.  But on the 2nd they sent me a damaged item & wouldn't amke it good.  But it was a small item & I gave them another chance.  The 3rd order lost them my business ... it was a $89 item that arrived broken (and even looked like it had already been used) & they wouldn't make good on it despite many emails & phone calls.  As far as I can see, they are out to burn you.  If they get anything right, it's by accident.  Buyer beware!  Extreme Restraints is a rip-off.

I agree with SB (sorry, I just can't shorten it to anything else that sounds nice, and I don't want to be disrespectful), in that if you can't get satisfaction with the company, call your credit card company. They are usually very quick to give your your money back, and get it themselves from the offenders.

A Dom friend ordered me some toys from them ... a very bad experience.  It was supposed to be a Valentine's Day present, but the stuff was so dmaged it had to go back ... he's never gotten satisfaction from eXtreme Restriaints.  He had to go to the credit card company hassles & finally got repaid.  He (we) won't do any business with eXtreme Retraints ever again.  But due to the bad service, my Valentine's Day gift was a month late by the time he could get it ordered from another company.

Same here, bad experiences, mostly lousy products and one order who got lost and took me months to get shipped again (emails didn't work I complained, and seriously so on the phone asking to go up the ladder). That was the 3rd time I used them, and for sure the last.

If possible: support your local shops!

You can usually get good advice, see & feel the gear, etc....

The Man ordered something from them over the holidays. It did finally show, but a month late, and no return emails. He finally found a phone number and refused to give up until he spoke to someone who did bother to check availability, shipping, etc. I doubt he'll be ordering from them again.

Wow.. thanks for posting this, who ever started the thread.  I was about to place an order from them, thinking it was a big enough company to want return business.
Whew.  I am glad I saw this, that would have been 200 tossed down a rabbit hole.

I ordered a bondage hood that was defective last year and returned it to them and they sent me another that was fully functional.
I've ordered quite a bit of stuff from them and had no problems.

There are too many vanilla cones here. It's a conspiracy engineered by a disgruntled customer...

When it comes to ANYTHING I only order from JP's Stockroom. Best company BY FAR and if they do screw something up THEY FIX IT.

Do you have a website for them. Googled it, but doesn't come up...at least on the first page LOL

What do you expect - I am a Domme used to having boys do these things.

Thanks Steel! I am getting ready to use about a grand of my tax refund to splurge on new toys and some furniture for my place since I am moving in with my boy - and can keep my place now just as a dungeon/weekend getaway for us!

I think S of U meant JT's stockroom, here's a link:

I tend to get a lot of my toys made and was considering purchasing a lot of stuff from the company noted in the OP, but will now reconsider. They answere a query of mine within three hours when I asked about postage to the UK, but it's piss-poor practice when they refuse to answer emails of complaint.

I've never purchased anything from them.  Although there are ways to complain.  Call your credit card company.  Even get your state involved and complain to them.

The Better Business Bureau won't do much so no need to waste your time with them.

I haven't had problems with them particularly, but in the few times that i've ordered from them i've noticed that they take forever to ship products out and the quality of the products is on the low side.

I decided after my last order that it was worth the extra dollar or two to order from stockroom et al...

Love that place!  They're so fast to get your orders out in the mail, as well... I think I have a new favorite place to go shopping, hehe.
