There are times that I really wish that I had someone to talk over some of my questions with, and I'll be that goes the same for many of you.  I would like to develop some relationships with others that would like a pen pal.  Is there anyone else that feels that need?

Probably need a bit more info about you and your needs to get some volunteers here who feel they have something in common with you. An alternative is to email someone whose post you resonate with and see if a friendship develops. That's how I've made some good friends here!

Every time i have a terrible spell of insomnia! *chuckle* Actually, it's hard to find good people that i can converse with on a regular basis. It seems that at first things are great, and conversations are strong. Then it slowly turns into my having to instigate or maintain the flow of communication. i am a little social butterfly, but i like good deep conversation and i assure you... sometimes it goes deeper than you'd imagine.

How about you go to the introduction section and introduce yourself and let us know a bit about you.
And, to be very honest, posts like your very first one here, the way you word it is not in your best interest. Learn to be more positive.

Depends on my mood really... but i have some rather differing views on various matters from D/s and BDSM, to religion, our lovely society, etc. Course, i'm also one to discuss such things over a glass of wine and a good game of backgammon or dominos!

Speaking of which... any takers? *chuckle*

See and I like Paper Pen Pals I really tend to despize E-mail after awhile because it is to easy to just write 6 words and send. I used to have a Paper Pen Pal in Bosnia but he has joined the army there and stopped writing. He was a Vanilla Pen Pal but I think I would love a Kinky Pen Pal. If you want Send me a CM E-mail on the other side and we can decide if we want to exchange addresses.

I agree that the best way to get to know someone is by having your interests listed.  My personal preference is to not only see those who list what they like to do outside of D/s and BDSM but those who list it all..."normal" interests and the BDSM/D/s interests.  It makes a starting point.  A well-worded profile is helpful too and, as Ma'am Jay noted, sending a note to someone whose post(s) resonate with you is a good start.  I have done that...send cmails to someone whose posts resonated with me AND have received cmails from someone who liked what I had to say.  That has led to my having several good acquaintances and a few friends from collarme.

Just once, and i won by a long shot. Not that it mattered, cause i got naked afterwards anyway. LOL... clothing is SO over rated!

As for having someone with similar interests in life and BDSM... nah, not necessary for me. i have found that i learn alot from those who are different from me. i don't have to agree with what's being said to have an in-depth discussion, as long as they can keep an even keel in controversy too. Then again, i'm also a brat and a smart ass, so i have playful moods too where it's all joking and back and forth nonsense. Sometimes it's a matter of bouncing ideas off each other, or just plain out venting about a bad day or something that's frustrating one of us. i just need someone who WANTS to keep communicating with me, and isn't just in it for sex talk or a few rounds of hi, how are ya kinda things.

I have always found the downside to pen pals is that the conversation either dries up, or tends to be very onesided. Very little discussion happens. I wouldnt mind chatting with someone who wants questions answered, or ideas addressed, but when it becomes a long term Q&A with nothing else, it gets old fast.

Yes, I am interested in pen pals.  I am more comfortable with one-to-one discussions because a problem with message boards could be misunderstandings and confusions because someone did not catch the spirit of what was being said and then someone doesn't like it and objects and and it is difficult toexplain and so on.  Message boards are most infotainment of course but pen pals have their utility too.

Metamorpha, I would have already invited you to be my penpal, but I couldn't see your profile.   Please see mine and let me know yours please..

Regards

I'm with Ma'am Jay.  I've made some wonderful chat companions that started from something they said on a forum post or something I said.  There's also quite a few people that I enjoy seeing just on the boards.  After a bit, you get to know some form of their CM personality.

Click the picture. Drop me a line if you want to. I make no claims about how good the conversation will or will not be.

Dominos and wine. That sounds interesting. I used to imagine the way the Dominos lined up as some sort of alien language as a kid. Yeh - so I was hooked on sci-fi at an early age

Goes off humming an old kiss song.

And what's wrong with indulging in sci-fi as an adult? i happen to LOVE watching certain sci-fi shows like Stargate Atlantis. i also still sleep with a teddybear (when my Owner isn't there to cuddle into), and i'm easily amused by little things. i have one of those megnetic wire toys, with a spinning bunny on it that goes up and around and back again... what are those things called anyway? ... That i keep by my computer while i'm waiting for loading or uploading and such.

i'm a strange little kytten, and i'm proud of it!

And i'm still waiting for a good game of backgammon or dominos! Anyone else chat on yahell? They have a fun version of Dominos on there. And i promise, you won't even know when and if i'm naked while we play.

You took that post all wrong. Was merely explaining why I saw a row of Dominos as an alien language. I still love sci-fi. Used to watch Atlantis myself but kinda lost track of it when I didn't have cable for awhile after moving to Ohio.

Well I do not sleep with them. But there are four stuffed critters overlooking my room. That were all bought for me by people who mean something to me. And you have perved my profile so you know by my picture I am not always the most serious person in the world.

As for dominos on yahell. That could more than likely be arrainged sometime in the future. Catch me around 4ish est if your still bored.

Speaking of  sci-fi and games. Don't suppose you ever played - The awful green things from outer space?

And so as not to totally hijack this thread. OP your welcome to join in a game of Dominos and some conversation as well.

Guilty as charged! i perved your profile.  Your pic reminded me of someone i once knew, but his name was Brad, and i'm sure you're not him. Would have sent ya a cmail but i'm kinda multi-tasking right now and the whole thought process has been put on hold. Oh, but i do happen to have every episode of Atlantis! *WEG*

And where IS the OP anyway? Figured they'd join in by now.

Ok... *sings* Hi-ho, hi-ho, it's off to work i go... to make more whips, and find some clothes... hi-ho, hi-ho, hiho, hiho!
