Question of the month...When a Dominant states that He or She is looking, seeking a sub/slave does that mean that He or She is willing to sedle for what ever should give Him or Her the time of day? Or does it mean that He or She will take what ever comes there way or offered to them while something better comes along?. Period? What? Not a normal question to ask the audience? Well i'm very sorry to make some of You out there cringe in discuss with my... How dare i ask such a question? But unfortunately for You all i need an answer because in my Book there is a CLEAR DIFFRENCE OF STATE OF MIND BODY AND YES! Ladies AND GENTLEMEN....The soul it's self.Yes indedy, an incredible difference so i'm a little confused.Do Most of You Dominants know this little piece of juicy info?....LOL.....Toodlles

If someone is seeking a sub or slave... they are seeking a sub or slave. If there is more to your question than that, it went over my head.

Your post is not well thoguht out, and it is a bit difficult to read the intent. But I will take a stab at it...
I hate to disappoint, but it is not an unusual question. It's not even very juicy.
Some will take on anyone...velcro collars can be popular among both subs and Dom/mes. Easy on, easy off. One letter email or IM chat does not a collaring make, but you will see different on the almighty internet.
Read the profiles for your answer. Some do, and many do not.
It's a crap shoot, but an attitude that indicates SAMiness is not going to get you very far.

I think the questions are: When a Dom is looking, will he settle for whomever crosses his path? Will he continue with someone who is unsuitable until someone else comes along?

I think the answer to these questions are as variable as the people you find on this site. Some will. Some won't.

Personally, I have turned down submissives precisely because they were unsuitable for me. I have accepted submissives without them being "long-term prospects" because I felt like we both had something to gain from the interaction.

Of course there is a difference in mind and body. If there wasn't a difference, we'd all be dominant or submissive, wouldn't we?
