US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi wants Bush to boycott the Olympics because of China's human rights abuses against Tibet. Like the Chinese really cares if Bush attends the opening ceremony?... If you really want to send the Chinese a message, Americans need to boycott Chinese-made products. But we won't. Everyone will blow their paycheck at Wal-Mart again and again.

WalMart=hard limit! I don't believe she intended it to be a statement delivered as "W," but as the leader of an influential country. Although we shouldn't assume U.S. influence is such a good thing anymore. Seriously, shouldn't something be said and done about it?

The sporting events far less so. So boycott the political side and leave the sports to those who have trained so hard for it.

I've always considered Nancy Pelosi to be a prime example of a woman who'd be better suited shutting the fuck up and making me a sandwich. Every time I see her face on TV I have the urge to headbutt it.

I was in Los Angeles about 7 years ago (thanks all you Angeleno's...please don't send me email..I know it's improved since then)...my buddy and I were down there to shake some tree's...we'd done a few too many...and we woke up. We both woke up nearly identically...and we both looked out towards the balcony curtain (closed...wouldn't have mattered)...both convinced we'd missed the client appointment...surely we had...it was (obviously) 5:30 (p.m.) or so. It was approaching dark.... Easily 2 hours approaching dark. We looked at the hotel clock (6:40 a.m., surely wrong...the Sun doesn't look like this at 6 a.m.) and we both determined that we were fucked. We called the front desk...it of course was 6:40 a.m., just like the clock suggested. Then it dawned on us.... "This ain't Kansas". (Back to China)... Several athletes have said they won't go. Because they'll damage themselves doing so. We don't need to boycott anything.... China will provide every opportunity for us to show (China) what they stand for...simply by showing up... (Or not).

And she does not want to do anything to stop the Congress and Senate practice or "earmarking". This is where money goes to those who give contributions to our Members of Congress and Senate for the money they give them. There are no hearing or anything ..just give them the money. This practice is already costing the taxpayers 18 Billion plus more and with the economy going down hill...it will make things worse.
