cyberdude611 -> Bill Clinton says Dems need to chill out... (3/29/2008 1:23:47 PM)

"We just need to relax and let this happen. Nobody's talking about wrecking the party," Clinton said. "Everywhere I go, all these working people say, 'Don't you dare let her drop out. Don't listen to those people in Washington, they don't represent us.'"

"I think the idea that a state as important to the Democrats' future as Pennsylvania, where (Republican nominee-in-waiting) Sen. (John) McCain has always been popular and always run well, the idea that the Democrats would not want the vote to occur here I think is crazy," Bill Clinton said.

PA will not vote for a Black American come November.

Still....

Obama's nomination as President, for the Demorcrats is far more important to the future of the country.

The democrats are between a rock and a hard place.

FatDomDaddy:

Don't under estimate what is going to happen in November.  No one knows, not even the candidates.
It depends upon the numbers, and as far as I am concerned, the party is split and the only way to fix it is for both to unite and quit bickering.
Bill is so far out on the loop.  This is not his election.  It is Hillary's.

He has cost her a lot of votes.  He needs to zip it.

Regards, MissSCD

I'm with you MissCd, his eagerness to be back in the saddle again drives Me nuts--I think he has hurt her--I don't care that Michelle Obama is campaigning--SHE hasnt been in the white house and she hasn't had some scandal attached to her.

I fear that Obama and Clinton have so split the party, that people are like, well hell Im going to McCain, at least they aren't fighting and bitching---I don't see that either has yet proven enough strength that some people will step out of mainstream and vote for a black man or a woman.

Well now wait a minute...

I thought John McCain was every democrat's favorite Republican, for years polls afted polls have showed overwheling support for McCain from democrats and Independants.

So why are the democrats worried about splitting the party?

They's always wanted McCain anyway.

Im surprised so many Dems underestimate McCain. I remember back in 2000, I knew even liberal Democrats that say they would vote for McCain if he was the nominee. Why Democrats would cross over and help the GOP elect the most electable Republican has to be one the dumbest moves Dems could have made yet in this election. Huckabee or Romney were getting slaughtered by both Hillary and Obama by 15-20 pts. McCain is running neck and neck with Hillary and Obama and Dems cross over and vote McCain? Weird...

McCain is not your typical Republican and no matter how much the Dems try to compare him to Bush...it just doesnt stick well. McCain and Bush agree on Iraq and free trade....and that's about it.

Hilliary and Obama are Free Traders too, even if they are pretending not to be as they shill for votes.
