One of my favourite lines from a movie (even if it did come from a children's movie) is where an older character tells the main character (who's crying and upset because he's lost and seperated from his grandparents) "this too shall pass, little one, this too shall pass." It sounds silly and trite but it's true. It's just hard to keep in focus when we're hurting or depressed.
Most of us have been there and can understand what it's like. *hugs* Life does go on and will get better though.
