i been using mirc since 1994 when mp3 first came out...now i use it for anime. most people use it to get their jollies off....just like yahoo or msn.etc.

I thought that as well. It was the first place you could go and chat. At least the first place I found when I had my first computer. Although so many rooms so little time and so little valuable chat. I didn't hang out long before moving on.
