ORIGINAL: LadyPact Do you change the amount of seriousness of a reply depending on the type of question posted to the boards? I've often noticed that questions, depending on how they are phrased, tend to get better reactions. It's been My perception that things involving safety in wiitwd, skill sets, off screen dynamics, seem to get better responses than posts detailing risky encounters, how do I types, and the online relationship woes. Perhaps this is due to My own cynical thinking of late, but I'm wondering if anyone else has thought the same. Of course, I do realize that certain folks who post do it almost purely for the comical aspect. Others can't respond to a question without writing a novel that has more to do with themselves than the questions posted. There are variations. I was just wondering what other people thought. If it's about money, real estate, business or return on investment...I start out serious until I discover the other person doesn't know shit about what they're talking about...then I send small flammable objects to their home and never speak to them again. If it's from a Domme I've spoken to once, who demands that I call her "Ma'am" or "Mistress" solely to have a normal conversation with her, I usually tell her to go fuck herself (in the most submissive of ways, naturally). If it's anything to do with politics (or any comment of any kind whatsoever from Popeye)...I start out laughing and then try like hell to find some way to contain my inability to deal with idiots...and then stop typing. And of course, if it's from my Mom...I simply agree....tell her she's right...and always will be....and then tell her I'll call her again next Christmas :)
