Status: offline 		before we married, my husband told me once we were married he would have my inner lips pierced. well, that was a year ago and the date has finally been set, this saturday, 3/29.  i have never been pierced (not even my ears) so i am a bit nervous.
anyone been through this before?

Status: offline 		My Sir pierced my labia (he has done alot of piercing), and it made me sweat like crazy. Hurts. But I wanted to please him so much, and bear his mark that I went through with it.

Just keep them very clean - I showered twice a day for the first week, and Sir swears by sea salt. I don't know that it made all that much difference, but it didn't hurt.

Interestingly my gyneacologist ,whom I have used for 20 something years ,  didn't utter a word when he saw them. Not so much as a "oh, thats new". I found this very funny.

The labia minora tend to be low-pain, low-infection, quick-healing piercings.  Initially jewelry should be a small diameter (but large enough for possible swelling) CBR.  Barbells of various sorts are fine after healing but due to the elastic nature of the tissue can easily be pulled through the piercing enough to damage it or even to completely come out.

Keep it clean (no oral, no sex, no irritating "feminine hygeine" products) and don't tug or tinker with it for the first 6-8 weeks and it will most likely heal with little to no problems at all.  Most times, they heal with no infections and no pain with only minor swelling lasting during the first 1-3 days.

Status: offline 		I have both nipples, my innner labia and clit hood pierced....

  The lower ones healed very quickly, two weeks and I was back in the saddle. The guy that did them has this whole zen approach, used a special needle, and did all three between my legs in one sitting. They hurt at that moment and that was it.

Status: offline 		Had the triangle done and had sex within 5 days.  We women heal uber fast down there.  Just keep it clean and as dry as possible, try not to scratch when the itching starts.  It's embarassing in public.
Been thinking about getting inner labia done as part of a scene....now I really wanna.

Status: offline 		Update - when my husband took me to the piercer, she told him for inner lips piercing, no sex for 4 weeks and that my lips and the holes will stretch considerably over time. so he changed his mind and my clit hood was pierced instead - big OUCHIE!

uhuh ...the worst bit for me having my hood done  - not my fear of needles ...not being on my own ... not being a complete coward about pain .. not having a big hairy biker between my thighs fiddling with my girlie bits

but standing up, seeing a teeny lil wet patch on the paper towel, the piercer grinning and saying "Ahhhh you're one of *those* girls .. will be seeing you again soon no doubt"

Status: offline 		Um...never heard that they might stretch over time, or the "wait four weeks", it was less than two for me. I've had mine for years, and no stretching or issues at all.

Status: offline 		Having my nipples pierced was way more ouchy than having the clithood pierced.   And the clithood healed way faster too.  We are planning to have my labia pierced,  sometime soon I hope.

Actually Daddy and i was discussing just earlier today and i ask what he would like to be pierced first and he said my nipples so of course that will be the piercing i get. A few years ago i did get my navel pierced but it never healed right, the piercer told me i was too fat for one thing which hurt my feelings because i really wasn't and he said it wouldn't look right or heal right. but i am determined to try it again by another one with a better bed side manner. i want it all done because i think it's sexy but daddy into it for sadist purposes.. ouch!!!

Status: offline 		I hope you enjoy your new piercing.  My inner labia piercings have stretched quite a bit, but I am told that had way more to do with having too small a gauge of jewelry.  Since I switched to a higher gauge, (12 or 10, I think) I've had no problems.

I have outer labia piercings and over the years they did stretch, mainly because we did/do chastity play where he locks the rings shut and so the locks usually have some weight to them and just over time stretched them a bit. Its always seemed like a perk to me, because when we went to get a thicker ring/higher gauge there was no pain or need to use those stretcher tools that sometimes have to be pulled out to use a thicker ring.

It'd probably be the cheesewire effect. A narrower guage bit of metal will cut through flesh more than a thicker bit. You can see a similar thing in the earlobes of elderly women who've spent a lifetime wearing heavey earrings in thin guage piercings.
