Two questions. If your dominant tells you in the morning that he plans on scening with you that night, do you work on getting yourself mentally prepared throughout the day? If you do, what do you do with that mental energy if for one reason or another your play doesn't get to happen....someone drops by, one of you doesn't feel well, something else comes up that needs your attention, etc.?

I write it off to:  "Oh, life got in the way - AGAIN!"  The mental energy is an all the time thing though, whether or not anything is planned ... just thinking about what he has done what he might do next, etc.  It's not like he creates that kind of energy in me - that energy is already there.  He just incites it sometimes.

Most of all I love mindfuck. So yes, it starts early ... sometimes very early. As another poster reminded: anticipation makes it all sweeter ... especially if it's anxiety.

When that gets "deferred," we both try to shrug it off and manage to not convince ourselves, let alone one another. If it's fun that can't be repeated, we have to try to talk ourselves back up from the "drop" . But usually, I find a way to twist the mindfuck to sustain the energy to the next opportunity. Usually.

No.  I am happy and think about it occasionally through the day.

Depends on what happened- whether it was reasonably within the control of one of us or not, how tense I already am, how often it's already happened.  Sometimes I'd love the distraction because it's great (OMG I won tickets to a concert tonight!) and sometimes I'd hate it and fly off the handle because changing up plans is a BIG sensitivity button for me and if other things aren't good then I might just be horrible.

I wish you could edit a quote a day later.

I should have said, that since wiitwd is highly sexual, unless illness or tragedy is involved, we do eventually get to have intense sex even without the ropes and all.
