I created my account a month or so back but then forgot about it entirely.

Although i've been a "bottom" since long before i had a word for it, i only recently felt comfortable labelling myself a submissive. i like
 to discuss different aspects of the lifestyle with as many as possible because i think it's something i'll spend the rest of my life learning even when i feel comfortable saying i've been in it for a "long time." although i consider myself submissive, some recent events have made me question whether or not that is all i am and i'm trying to learn more about the Domme side of things as well, although that is a VERY recent thought to have even crossed my mind.

i like to go out to the bar on the weekend, i like to go to munches, private parties, public dungeons with friends.  My day to day life is nowhere near as fun. unfortunately i suffer from bipolar disorder (that's the wrong term, i live with it, not suffer from it)... i know that scares many away, but once people get past my psychiatric issues, they find a very (sometimes over-) caring person. i love making people happy, and i don't mean just in the submissive sense, i mean i am the type to spend my last five bucks to buy my friend dinner without thinking about the fact that i won't have money to get home ;)

There's really not much more to tell to me than that without knowing what people want to hear

Seeing that you have 165 posts, you know that sticking around and meeting new faces will help you find everything you need. It is okay to label yourself at any time. The best step is admitting it openly. From what you have written, there is a good chance that you may be an alpha, or that of a switch. I have known some rather interesting dommes who submitted to more powerful dominants. Of course they did this out of secrecy mostly, but even so, it is known to happen. Bipolar disorder is not an uncommon thing, even for the lifestyle. Being a Psychologist, I have met hundreds of men and women who have all sorts of disorders. Perhaps what you should do is let people get to know you first, before you openly speak of that. Thus, you wont be scaring anyone away because they learn and like you and see your heart first hand. Sounds to me that you are an honorable and respectful woman and I know many will like what they see when they speak with you.
