On Lou Dobbs tonight they played a tape of this moron saying that whitie invented the aids viris to commit genocide on the black man.

Quite frankly I wouldn't invite the guy for dinner either,but to my mind the speech Obama gave the other day raised the level of conversation.Personally I think it's a ironic this guy rambles ,boxes Obama into a corner where he has to talk about the one thing he doesn't want his candidacy to be about.Makes the speech of his life ..go figure.

From watching that single clip, I don't see anything about what he said that was over the top. I think pointing out black people jumping out the towers, is just stupid though as there were people of every race doing that. Obviously, his examples were designed just to stir his target audience, which a preacher shouldn't kneel to if he's trully trying to spread the word of "God". IMO. But he spoke more truth in there than most would.

Unless there is a another clip were he says something, actually bad, I think people need to get a life.

Now, if he was attending a Louis Farakhan(spelling) service regularly. Yeah, I wouldn't vote for him, unless a gun was to my head.

What's really interesting is the belief that this was some sort of media hatchet job perpetrated against the reverend .Lets face it white, black or brown if the spiritual advisor to a front-runner for the highest office goes over the top on one subject or another, FILM at 11 .The most sensational clips will be played over and over ,the media is looking for viewers if the viewer is looking for context or the whole story it's out there ,you just need to look for it.Now as far as truth ,strictly speaking you could make an argument that he spoke truth.But not the whole truth and not truth in it's proper context.The media isn't alone in cherry picking highlights ,when he speaks of Hiroshima and Nagasaki does he mention civilian contractors beheaded on Wake island by the Japanese (only one example of atrocities commited by the Japanese army,one of the benefits of winning is you get to hold the trials) He's not a victim of racist media coverage .Just an idiot caught in the eye of the storm

Yeah, you're right about the Hiroshima and Nagasaki part It just slipped my mind when I was posting, but I do disagree with that part as well.

His sermon is absolutely on the mark.

Anyone who misses the fact that he was pointing out that black people were jumping off the buildings with everyone else, that they were all doomed together, is being willfully ignorant and dishonest.

Well-off white middle-aged males pissing and moaning about racism disgusts me. Be honest, and dig out your Klan uniforms, and come out of the closet.

Show me the post where you got all pissed off at Falwell claiming 9/11 was God's retribution against America for giving gays and lesbians and liberals and free-choicers and such equal rights under the law (and gays don't even have that yet).
