MontrealPhoenix -> Just had a huge shock (3/21/2008 8:31:00 AM)

I just learned that Dave, a good friend from a site i used to belong to, has died.  He had very high blood pressure for years, which couldn't be brought under control.  He died in his wife's arms of a brain bleed.  Our last words were hard ones and we never spoke after that.

Let this be a lesson for everyone. Make up with those we've had a fight with, we never know when those hard words may be the last spoken.

This has come as a horrible shock and i now wish i had made amends before it was too late. Please ppl, learn from this, contact someone you've had a fight with, pride is no good once it's too late...

I am sorry for your loss.

Between friends harsh words may be spoken; that is what friends are for.

The God of the Dead knows that you both meant well.

eep...thats whats going to happen to my 65 yr old dad.... although he stopped smoking years ago to help...  me on the other hand... ill have a clot or a heart attack...cause they sure as hell am not helping me (the dr's) cause they only care whats on their charts and not what actually is happening... ugh...

i bet thats what they did to your friend...told him nothing they can do...there is always something that can be done...look at my dad...at 65 (and still going) with the same issue as your friend...

its so sad..

The OP is correct.  I been there.  Live each day as it was the last.

I wish I could tell you it is no big deal.   That doesnt solve anything.

Life is an art- we learn as we go.

Not true at all, faery. His doctors have been trying to get his BP under control for years. Nothing they tried worked...

that's right, pa. I see so many ppl who let the small, pointless stuff get them all stressed...and the fact is the majority of it is small stuff.  If there's something you can do to change it, do so. Otherwise there is no point in getting upset, it changes nothing anyway.
