Why is this guy still running around?

I swear...if I was running from the US feds...I'd have been in handcuffs 8 years ago!!!!!

Status: offline 		I often suspect that Bin Laden eludes capture primarily because there is not a political will to capture him. 

Bin Laden captured and put on trial becomes a focal point for Islamic fundamentalists world wide.  Bin Laden killed becomes a martyr for Islamic fundamentalism.

Bin Laden holed up in a cave unable to show his face becomes impotent.

This is not to say there is some grand conspiracy to keep Bin Laden free and menacing, merely that there is (I suspect) some institutional inertia driven mainly by a natural desire to keep Bin Laden out of the news.

Status: offline 		Before she was murdered Benazir Bhutto claimed in an interview with Sir David Frost that Bin Laden had been killed. There are lots of reports floating about that he infact died from illness. Either way it benefits neither side to say he has died of illness.

The reason Bin Laden wasn't captured is because his family & the Bush family are in bed w/each other pure & simple...
Anyone with a lick of sense knows the whole Bush lineage are Treasonous Traitors!!! But we keep letting them get away w/it...
Wheather he's dead or not we'll prolly never know till years after his usefulness is Null & Void...

Status: offline 		Do you remember that Eric Rudolph guy?  He was they Olympic Park bomber in 1996.  He also blew up a couple of abortion clinics.  I think he aluded the FBI for almost 10 years in North Carolina.  They had the National Guard, the Feds, and state and local cops after him.  Of course there is D.B. Cooper.  They never found that guy.  Maybe he is dead, and maybe he isn't.  We will never know.  People can hide pretty well when they are smart and capable.  They only brought Pol Pot to justice when he was an old man.  Eichman is another.  He and lots of other Nazi scumbags managed to allude the entire world in South America for decades. 

I doubt they will ever catch Bin Laden, but they have certainly isolated him.  He can make all the stupid little speeches on tape recorders he wants.  What harm is he really?

Status: offline 		My thinking is that if he is alive, he would gain more publicity by having a photo shot of himself holding up a recent newspaper. If they could pull off 9/11 then they could certainly manage to take a few photos. What a coup that would be, showing all his supporters that the US/UK still cant capture him. Conversely, if he were dead and killed in battle, he would become an instant martyr.
