For the umpteenth time I ask: how do the Democrats meaningfully distinguish themselves from the opposition on issues like the war, universal healthcare, campaign finance reform, overhauling the monetary system, etc?
Up to their eyeballs in money from the military industrial complex, the answer is they don't.

FWIW, this is a legitimate complaint concerning policy - and not at all like that drivel about Obama's pastor. That stuff is simply thinly disguised racism and we all know it. At least everyone knows he's a christian and not a muslim now - not that such a thing should matter. Personally, I'd rather he were agnostic or an atheist - but I'm not going to hold his quack faith system against him. Lots of people believe all kinds of foolish religious drivel and the electorate usually eats that shit up and then asks for seconds.
