Hello all,

I was wondering does anyone know of any sites in California where you can go camping and not have to worry too much about either being nude most of the time, and/or being able to do what it is we all do??

I have found resorts so far but was wondering if camping sites exist...

Last time I was there, the Red, White and Blue beach just north of Santa Cruz on the coast had camping sites. I used to live in the Bay Area and used to go there most weekends. It's changed though over the years so I don't know what the current atmosphere is like. It used to be clothing optional with a family emphasis. My friends are now over at Laguna Del Sol near Stockton, a resort.

Were you looking for a particular area?

Not really looking for anyplace in particular.  I am located in the Bay Area so was hoping somewhere within maybe 3 hours max...

I'll have to try checking out the one you suggested, thank you!

edited to add... I just checked them out on line and the owner has closed it down... :(

Any nudist resort, club, campground will not allow you to do what it is you do. Almost all are family oriented. There are a few swing/campgrounds around that would probably be ok with all that so try looking on their website.

    Is it mainly word of mouth or can you actually search out those type of camp grounds?   If so what about Nebraska and South Dakota *giggles*

    I know of a couple of clothing optional beaches on the East Coast but no camp grounds.

    We plan our vacation around nudist camping and BDSM.  We'll be traveling from Montana to WA state to attend In the Woods the end of July which is a week long kinky campout.  We've gone camping there twice now and we met there a few years ago.  You might try to plan any vacation time you have around kinky events in the West.

    Last I knew Blacks Beach was closed down....whats WRONG with those people!
     
    For those in the midwest, there is bdsm group in Kansas City that has a campout twice a year...cloths optional.

    I googled yesterday and then got distracted and didn't post anything I found. But I googled camping, California, and kinky, I think, and found several events and locations. Then I did the same thing with New England instead of California, and got similar results. I would think, but I could be wrong, that you would be better off on private land that is owned by someone in-the-know, then trying to go remote and hiking into an area of wilderness (because you never know who else will just stop by).

    You are a lot better off going to private land which is very common in areas where land is not so expensive.  I know a group of friends and I would have these play parties in the Maine woods that were incredible and we actually had the outer perimeter of the area sectioned off using large hanging tarps... they actually were not visible from the house but it kept people from peaking in or accidently wandering into the play area (about 15-20 acres)

    As far as I know the National parks dont actually have any laws against nudity but they do have laws against having sex in the open.  A lot of nudist areas that you will find are centered around National parks.

    We have a little place here that you can get a room or camp.  It's a privately owned hot springs.  If you didn't know it was there, you wouldn't know it was there.  It's very low profile and laid back (nothing on the one little entrance sign would lead you to believe you were headed into a nudist area).  You pretty much have to be in the lobby to realize it.

    We've had great times on national forest land though.  The obscenity law here is you must have the intention to offend.  If we've gone out into the middle of nowhere, obviously no offence was intended.  It's never been a problem though - not ever.

    So where is your place?  I would love to get more informaiton on it.  Do you have a website?

    Also is there anyone else out there who has private land where kinky people can camp and play?
