Hello MasterBlueTiger. I think "sub vs slave" is a false notion, question or premise.

I see submission in many styles: Daddy (mommie)-baby, caretaker-pet, master-slave, traditional marriage, boss-secretary (employee) you name it it is all submission-domination.

The reason that we compare ms to the rest is because of the highly symbolic bdsm component. A master slave relationship is the same as a daddy-baby relationship. Styles differ.

A good analogy would be dance and dancers. We all dance (dom-sub) but not the same way. "Sub vs slave" is like "dancer vs salsa-dancer" to me. It makes no sense. RL.

IMHO:

a slave submits once to a Master/Mistress

a submissive submits over and over again to a Dom/me

i was a collared slave for 5 years, released without fault due to life circumstances. During those 5 years i did not "know" the word 'no' in regards to a response to Him or any order that He gave to me.
