ORIGINAL: cyberdude611 I also think America is a bit racist and when they go in to vote some people will have a problem voting for a black man. It's sad. I dont agree with it....but that's reality. I dont think Obama has any chance at all in winning a southern state. Which means we are looking at an electoral map very similar to 2000 or 2004. Where exactly are South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Louisianna and Mississippi located? I thought he already won those states once. On the Democrat side....yes. But im talking about the general election. Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia are bright red states. And they dont take kindly to mid-west or new england liberalism. In Florida which is the most liberal southern state is right now showing McCain with a 10 pt lead over Obama. Also in Lousiana, that is one of the few Senate seats the Democrats may lose. So the politics down there is very different.
