I've been a member of collarme for about a month or two now, and I've sent out messages to about twenty different people whose profiles had something interesting in them.  I've put thought into my messages, asked a few questions, and tried to be respectful.  All but two of the messages were "deleted unread," and the two individuals that actually read the messages never replied.

My profile has clear pictures, plenty of info, and i feel I've (once again) put some thought into it.  My only concern is that it may be TOO big- but I put the most important stuff up front, in any case.  In any case, the ice-cold response i'm getting means I need some advice from those with more experience.

Are there ways I can improve my profile/content of my messages to increase the liklihood of getting a response?

Your profile is a little long, but I do not believe this is your difficulty. Some people have filters on their in box and something about your profile made it end up in their bulk mail. Perhaps you are too young for them, or live too far away.

I would suggest continue posting here, join a real life group if you are social, and relax... this isn't a race and some people have searched for years...

Twenty e-mails is nothing, although I quite understand Your frustration at having them be deleted without being read. I do think that Sinergy is correct about the filters being applied, however.

Finding Your match online is relative to the proverbial needle in a haystack. Twenty e-mails equals twenty twigs of hay...only about a million more to go. :)

Seriously, though, just be patient, and in time Your sincere e-mails will land in someone's box who will appreciate Your efforts.

Best of luck!

I'm gonna have to agree with SinergyNstrumpet . Your profile is too long, consider condensing it... just my 2 cents.

OK.  I've trimmed it down.

This is all my opinion so take it with a grain of salt...

Your profile is way more detailed and far better than 90% of the people on the other side.  You sound like a really nice guy so maybe you're just having some bad luck.  I came across a coupe of things that I personally wouldn't find attractive about your profile..

You sound way too wishy washy for me.  You bounce back and forth in your profile.  You hate humanity, but diversity and people coming together is magic.  You don't do drugs, but you don't judge people who do.  I don't like the writing style and I don't really think it represents a person who knows how to make decisions, if that makes sense?

In your what you are looking for part of your profile you might want to take out all the negative stuff about how you are never fulfilled and you've tried to be 'normal' etc etc Maybe think a little bit more about what M/s means to you in realistic terms, not romantized terms.

Also, you have typos and frequently do not cap your 'I.'

I guess I read the trimmed version.  To be brutally honest, you come across as entirely vanilla.  Probably not what you wanted to hear.  Maybe writing about what appeals to you in D/s, as opposed to what about women appeals to you, would help.

Don't get discouraged.  It's likely to take a long time to find a good fit.

Most of it's probably age. It will help if you can get out and meet some people in real life-and get some refferences.
