I love it...but I can't quite believe it...so I'm not really sure how I feel...that my son got in touch with me on Facebook tonight.  I haven't heard from him in over 5 years & my grandchildren have been growing up without me.  Today, my sister & I were talking about him & I told her that the last I heard from him, he said he needed some space & I hadn't heard anything since.  Sharon said, "Maybe it hasn't been enough time yet.  When it is enough, you'll hear from him."  And a few minutes ago, there he was.  I'm completely discombobulated!!!

I think I'm glad too.  but it's complicated. *sigh*  At least I get to see pics of my beautiful grandchildren!!  Twins, 15 years old.

OMFGARY!!!!!  I just had a long chat online with my beautiful granddaughter!!  She's 14.  I never thought I'd be able to see or talk with them again.  And here they all are, in my world again after 5 years.  Sometimes, patience actually does pay off, I guess.  She said that her mother tried to find me last year, but wasn't able to.   Thank God for facebook!!!!!  I'm walking around on clouds.  My heart is full.  I'm gonna stop now before I gets all weepy.

So, maybe there is hope...one of my daughters cut contact 6 years ago.  Her children came to live with me for a couple of years and then went to their father, so i was not cut off from them.
 
Again, i am soooooooo glad you are connected again.

Thank you wanders & fluffy!!  There is always hope.  I told myself that for the last 5 years, although there were times when the negative & despair would come creeping in.  His Evilness always reminds me to stay positive, that positive attitude will bring positive things.  I love it that he's right!!!!!
