I love it when the most amazing things happen out of the blue. I had a friend from when I was in grade/jr high I have been trying to find since 99 or so with no luck. I really had done everything I could think of to hunt her down, I even contacted the funeral home when I found out her dad passed away too late to make the service. I happened to go classmates the other night, which I don't ever hardly do..I hadn't been on there in months probably. I saw this name in the new section and thought it might be her sister. I took a chance and wrote, kept forgetting to go back. I just finally remembered and I had an email that it was her sister and it included my friends phn num.. I am still in total shock. I know it seems silly, but it's just one of those things I have been constantly doing for years. She has a really common maiden name, and I had no clue of her married one. I would search and literally find hundreds with the same name.

I feel like God sent me to that site, that night...there is no other explanation. I am so grateful and happy. I will be calling her this weekend even though I hate using the phone. I can't wait!

Thanks!! I am just so happy and floored. I am nervous to talk to her though... what's funny is she is the first girl I ever, ya know..messed around with.

I have found tons of ppl on facebook, it was sort of creepy. Most of my friends I have had 12-15 yrs..but they all live in the other part of the state. Of course this one does also, but at least she is in the same part so when I go to visit I will be able to look her up. Now I just need to take a bit off of school so I can stay a couple of weeks.

I love it that next week I will be getting close to 40-44 hours at work!  I CANT WAIT!  That means that maybe, just maybe I can get my new boots, pay bills, and stash some away to go see Mr Wonderful![;)]

I love it that despite all the crap thats going on, I have a warm place to sleep, food, and friends and family that love me despite my dork moments (remind me to talk about the newest one later!).

...I just got the idea in my head to pop over to you folks next year summer...IF I have finished my degree by then which should be the case [:D]

Because then I would be able to meet some mad folks, such as Holly and Stevie, and some wonderful people such as poenkitten and Black Phoenix [:)] I would love 4 weeks off for some journey through america (though no idea where each of those are right now...Greedy should be by her Pirate by then I guess and hope for her!!! otherwise I will stuff her into my suitcase and take her back to here [:D])

I LOVE IT when something actually goes the way it's Supposed to go!  The hospice nurse arranged things so that dad's replacement equipment got here today properly, on time, and without any hassles to myself.  All of the stuff has been changed out, and the old equipment is getting picked up on Monday by the other company.
 
I love it that I've been informed that the Home Health agency that Hospice refered dad to actually Accepts His Insurance - so for the time being, I'll be able to get home health in here, without it costing me anything, to deal with dad on a regular basis while I'm searching for a suitable nursing home.  This in and of itself buys me some MUCH needed time.  And having home health in for 3 hours a day, 3 days a week, will buy me some much needed stress relief in the meantime!
 
I love it that I'm NOT going to have to go completely broke paying for this stuff while I'm looking for a nursing home, which means I should actually be able to set some money aside as backup for when I Do find a suitable nursing home.
