I love it when I get the bright idea to walk home from the gym, and don't realize that I had to walk from 20 St. NW to 9 St. NE.

That is 3 fucking miles.  Oh well...got my exercise in.

I also love it when, as I am walking home and by the Capitol, I see that I can't get through and have to take the long way around bcause the President is there tonight.  The one night I decide to walk home.....

OK... I love it when I get to help a really catty attorney from another firm fall on her sword.

Towards the end of the day, I get a snippy email, that was cc'ed to my boss, asking why her firm got a deficiency notice and a fine.  I'm sure she didn't expect me to have the entire file at my disposal, but I did...  So I replied to her, sent attachments, and a long explanation of where she messed up.  I ended my reply with "If I am missing something, please advise." 

A few minutes later, she sent an email with the requested information, with a one sentence reply to my message:
"Please forward the attached document to [co-worker]."

Hehehehe...  yep!  And we'll be collecting that fine, too, biotch!  [:D]

I love it when someone else got heard about the rutted forming in a county road, damaging their car. The final result was the county fixed all 4 spots and mowed as well!

i love it when He comes home after spending about 90 minutes with His friend and asks what i did "all night".........

i love it when i'm looking at amtrack prices and times, etc. and He asks what i'm looking for and i tell Him and He gives me a big hug and tells me if i want to go see my friend He will support me in what ever way He can....
and then i call my friend and i ask Her if i can come visit her....

I love it that I got back into one of my favorite addictions, and accomplished something I had wanted to do for 3 years!  Woohoo!  Now...wonder when sleep kicks in?

Thanks!!! It took me a really long time to get in the groove. I started in Jan failed a few times and then changed my diet to more proteins less carbs... basically a lot of sushi and I'm really trying to eat more fish (but it's rough going on the fish)


I think if I work out more consistently I may drop weight faster or tone up a bit more so that's the next step. I've been hiking about three miles a day for the last week.

Sounds like you're on the right track, Imp!  When you do start to workout for toning make sure you load up on the proteins within 20 minutes after your workout to feed your muscles. Ideally it's 1g protein per body weight. Some folks do 2g but I think that's excessive & they're heavily into body building. 1g pbw is my preference.

**Eta, try & do 1 hour of cardio everyday and remember when you do weights to give your muscles a break in between workouts. Ideally the schedule is every other day**

Hi hi!

Imp - try some Korean food (I know, I know)... it's really good and very healthy!

So here's my LOVE:

Today is my step mom's birthday, and so I called and wished her well.  She says to me "When you get back, if you want to go look for your mom's grave, I'll take a couple days off of work and go with you... if you want."

Is that not the sweetest thing!  I love my mom - heck I love all of them!
